Public Realm consultation clinics in Ennis

16 September 2019

Stakeholders consultation clinics on the Ennis Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration Projects will take place on Tuesday 24 September and Wednesday 25 September.

Stakeholders consultation clinics on the Ennis Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration Projects, in respect of the Proposed Project B; O’Connell Square, High St, Barrack Square and Old Barrack St Project will take place in the Civic Room, Buttermarket Building (formerly Ennis Town Council offices), Drumbiggle Road, Ennis on Tuesday 24 September and Wednesday 25 September. The clinics are being facilitated by Clare County Council and Tom McNamara & Partners Consultants.

The purpose of regenerating the Public Realm is to enhance the Town Centre Environments, making it a more accessible and attractive place to spend time. The clinics will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to raise any ideas and incorporate them where possible during the detailed design process and raise any concerns in relation to the project. It is intended to submit this project for Part 8 planning approval in early 2020 and should funding be secured, it is anticipated that construction will commence in 2021.
