This year’s Bank of Ireland National Enterprise awards have recognised the enterprising nature of Ennis and Kilrush.

Santa Claus is coming to town on Friday 29th of November and will join the Mayor of Ennis Municipal District, Cllr. Johnny Flynn, for the official switching on of the Christmas Lights and the launch of the ‘Christmas in Ennis’ programme in O’Connell Square from 5:00 p.m. 

Clare County Council and An Garda Síochána are hosting a Property Marking Clinic as part of the Clare County Property Marking Scheme. 

Clare County Council signed contracts with Haley Sharpe Consultants to prepare a new Cliffs of Moher Strategy 2040. The consultants comprise a multi disciplinary team who will devise the strategy that will inform future developments at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience. This is a joint initiative between Clare County Council and Fáilte Ireland.

Science Week 2019 is taking place nationwide from November 10th to 17th with numerous events happening across the country. Kilrush and Kilkee libraries will host 4 Science Shows for primary and post-primary schools in West Clare on Friday the 15th of November..
