Clare County Council has partnered with the University of Limerick (UL) to sponsor a new PhD Scholarship Programme at the Cliffs of Moher Experience.
A new website dedicated to promoting awareness of one of Clare’s outstanding innovators, Brendan O’Regan, was officially launched in the Council Chamber in Áras Contae an Chláir, Ennis, Co. Clare, on Wednesday, 22nd June.
The N18 is a national road of strategic national importance, providing a direct connection between County Limerick, County Clare and County Galway while interconnecting all three regions with Shannon International Airport, which is a growing centre of employment and economic activity.
Councillor Alan O’Callaghan has been elected Cathaoirleach of the Killaloe Municipal District at its Annual General Meeting, held on 24th June, 2022.
Cllr Pat Burke was elected Leas Cathaoirleach.
Cllr Shane Talty was elected as Cathaoirleach of the West Clare Municipal District on 23rd June, 2022.
Cllr Ian Lynch was elected as Leas Cathaoirleach.
Councillor Tony O’Brien has been elected Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council at its Annual General Meeting, held on Friday, 24th June, 2022.
Cllr Clare Colleran-Molloy has been elected Mayor of Ennis Municipal District (EMD) at its Annual General Meeting, held in Áras Contae an Chláir and online, on 17th June, 2022.
The Ennis South Flood Relief Scheme was officially opened today, Tuesday 21st June, by Patrick O’Donovan TD, Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works.
In consultation with the HSE and following improved bacterial results the temporary prohibition on swimming that had been in place at Cappagh bathing area has been lifted as of 11:00am today (17th June, 2022).
